Sponsorship Program in China

Starting from year 2005, Evonik is the development fund partner of China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), one of the top business schools in Asia. From 2006, Evonik plays as a Founding Sponsor, and a continuing Diamond Sponsor of the school’s Being Globally Responsible Conference -- the first and largest CSR forum launched by and for MBA students in Asia. Meanwhile, CEIBS has supplied Evonik with MBA students through its Group Consulting Project program (GCP) each year, and has also supported Evonik’s recruiting efforts.

Evonik, entered into cooperation with Shanghai Petrochemical Academy in 2005. Every year, about 35 students were recruited into the Evonik class. The first batch of graduates from Evonik class has already started to work successfully for our operations on the Multi-User-Site and in the R&D center. Evonik China also established a regional training center at SPA that provide regular and tailor-made training courses to selected workers of our operations all over China.

Following the successful cooperation with Shanghai Petrochemical Academy to develop qualified operators for our production sites, the joint-education cooperation program between Evonik Northeast China Companies (ENCC) and LiaoNing Institute of Science and Technology (LSTI) was launched in LSTI in Benxi on September 25th 2008. With a sponsorship of 100,000 RMB from Evonik, the joint program will train students from LSTI to ENCC through a tailor-made curriculum.
